Morning visit to the Biodiversity Museum at University of Campeche. Talks about the role of the Museum by local Scientists. Travel to Zoh-Laguna (around 5 hrs trip south of Campeche). If time allows, walk around village (get familiar with the village and do some flora and fauna observations). Organizational meeting, project ideas, seminars? |

Morning visit to Nuevo Becal Village approx. 15 km east from Zoh-Laguna. Getting familiar with local economic activities and their impact on tropical forest. Visit to local traditional agriculture plots. Late afternoon, visit “El volcán de los murciélagos”. A cave where we can see millions of bats coming out of the cave. |
